ICYMI - Nuveen welcomes Harriet Steel as Global Head of Institutional Business and KKR names Morgan Stanley veteran as Senior Advisor for Real Estate
In today’s newsletter, Energy & Infrastructure Moves has learned from sources close to the move, that Harriet Steel has joined the leading asset manager Nuveen as Global Head of Institutional Business. She will be based in London, in this newly created position reporting directly to the Global Head of Client Group at Nuveen, Mike Perry.
Steel joins Nuveen from European private debt manager Pemberton, where she was a Partner and Head of Global Clients from April 2023. Previously, she spent over 11 years at Federated Hermes, most recently heading up its international business development.
In other news, according to sources at BusinessWire, Energy & Infrastructure Moves, can reveal that KKR, a leader in private equity, on Monday, appointed Guy Metcalfe as Senior Advisor for Global Real Estate.
Metcalfe, an industry veteran who joins KKR from Morgan Stanley, has accrued more than 20 years of professional experience in real estate and has overseen more than $850 billion in real estate transactions across multiple geographies. He was most recently Global Chairman of Morgan Stanley’s real estate investment banking business.
