AXA Investment Managers appoints two new ESG hires in its global RI team
Happy Friday everyone,
In today’s newsletter, AXA IM have announced the hire of Mariana Villanueva and Matthieu Firmian, two new appointments within its Responsible Investment (RI) team, aiming to further expand its capabilities and expertise, the company said in a statement.
Mariana Villanueva (pictured right - below) is appointed ESG Analyst. She will work on transversal topics such as biodiversity as well as the analysis of Green and Sustainable bonds. She is joining from the AXA Group where she was a Credit Analyst.
Matthieu Firmian (pictured left - below) is appointed ESG Analyst. He will provide thematic research and analysis on various ESG topics with a specific focus on social themes, contributing to AXA IM's engagement projects on social topics and engaging with companies on these areas.
