British Land on Wednesday announced the appointment of Michael Wiseman to its Executive Committee with immediate effect.

The appointment of Wiseman, a long-serving real estate industry veteran, marks a consolidated approach by British Land to strengthen the Board of one of the leading listed property investment and development firms in the UK.

Chief Executive, Simon Carter, said of the appointment: “Mike’s deep market knowledge and strong customer relationships have been central to British Land’s sustained leasing success and the performance of our London campuses over the past decade.
