The celebrated origins of Britain’s young theatre actors and actresses, East 15 Acting School (a part of the University of Essex), is unfortunately no more. At least not in its original form. You may be aware that there is comprehensive restructuring i.e. cuts being actualised to University Creative Arts Departments by the Department of Education. Last week, in a letter to the Office of Students, which is Britain’s independent regulator on higher education funding, the Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson MP for Houghton and Sunderland South wrote:
